Today sees Puma and Spurs launch the new Tottenham Hotspur Home Football Shirt for the 2010/11 season - and you can check out the real deal right here on the SoccerBible!
The campaign around the new shirt encourages fans to "Be In That Number"
- an obvious nod to the chant of "When The Spurs Go Marching In",
famously heard from the Spurs support. We reckon Puma have done a
great job doing something different againa and have captured what it
means to be a supporter with this campaign - even if Ledley King seems
like he's unsure of the words to the song!

The new Spurs Home shirt continues the trend of retro influence and heritage, and Tottenham fans will be pleased to see Puma have created a bespoke silhoutte, rather than modifying an existing teamwear style like last season. So Puma definitely get the thumbs up around the SoccerBible HQ for creating something different!

The exact launch of the new Spurs shirt has been subject to much
speculation over the recent weeks, due to the club negotiating a new
corporate sponsor in the wake of the expiring Mansion deal. So a unique
sponsorship deal sees software company Autonomy signed up as
the Premier League sponsor - with Spurs also looking to sign up
additional sponsors for this seasons Cup competitions.

Puma have enlisted a host of top Spurs players for the photoshoot,
including Jermain
Defoe, Aaron Lennon, Luka Modric, Peter
Crouch, Roman
Pavyluchenko, Ledley King and Tom Huddlestone all joining in the
"celebrations" for the campaign.

Accompanying the shirt are the new shorts and socks, naturally following
in the same style. The addition of the retro stripes to the right leg
of the shorts and matching socks completes the ourfit for the 2010/11
season.

The new Tottenham Home kit will be worn for the first time during the club's USA Tour in the matchup against San Jose Earthquakes on 17 July 2010. The new shirt goes on pre-order from today with a late September launch, where you should expect to pay around £45 GBP / $70 USD for your new Spurs shirt.
