Football Shirts > Inter Milan Home 10/11 Nike Football Shirt

Unveiling the striking new home shirt for European and Italian champions Inter Milan. To be worn during the 10/11 season, the Nike designed Inter Milan Home shirt features an original take on the traditional Nerazzurri colours.

The Nike Inter Milan 10/11 Home Football Kit features quite a distinctive "serpent scale" effect, re-inventing the club's traditional black and blue colours which they have sported since 1908. The new Inter Milan home shirt ties in with the Inter Milan Away Kit 10/11, which incorporates the Biscione (Serpent) a symbol of Inter Milan.

To launch the Nerazzurri's new football shirt, Nike have produced some great imagery which reinforces their 'Write The Future' message, they've been promoting throughout the summer. The imagery displays the passion, energy, drama and emotions endured by a player over the 90 minutes, highlighting how one moment in a players performance can change the game and 'Write The Future'.

The new Inter Milan Home Football Jersey 10/11 is a part of Nike's 'Considered Design' programme, to create performance products that minimise environmental impact by reducing waste. Combining traditional elements with new age technology, every Inter Milan home shirt will be made entirely from recycled polyester, each crafted from up to eight plastic water bottles!

The improved Nike Dri-Fit fabric, now 13% lighter than previous kits, helps to quickly evaporate moisture by drawing through the fabric to the surface to keep players dry. Performance is further enhanced by Ventilation Zones on the sides of the jersey and back of shorts, which are literally holes in the material to enhance breathability by up to 7%.

Also unveiled is the new Inter Milan goalkeeper shirt 10/11, to be worn by Julio Cesar, and featuring another quite striking design from Nike.

Check out this great imagery SoccerBible received from Nike and Inter Milan, of star players Wesley Sneijder, Samuel Eto'o and Davide Santon sporting the new Inter Milan Home football strip 10/11.

Also, it didn't escape our attention that both Sneijder and Santon are in the new Nike football boots colourways, with Santon wearing the Cactus/White Nike Vapor Superfly football boots and Wesley Sneijder in the Challenge Red Nike T90 Laser football boots, although we're unsure if he's going to sport the Elite's or Laser III's when the season starts.

Under the guidance of new boss Rafa Benitez, Inter Milan will be hoping for another successful season after winning both the Serie A and Champions League titles last time round.

The new Inter Milan Home Kit 10/11 is certainly sharp looking, and fitting of a championship winning side that includes such star players as Maicon, Sneijder, Eto'o and Lucio. Available to pre-order now, the 2010/11 Inter Milan Home football shirt is expected to go on general sale from 19th July.
