Two weeks since its launch and the new adidas Predator LZ has already created quite a storm. Arriving on the back of the outrageous launch colourway, adidas re-tune their dial to give us this more palatable black/green/white design. If you found the first a little hard to stomach, these might be more up your street.

There are few football boots in the world with such unimpeachable credentials as the adidas Predator. A beacon of innovativeness in football boot technology, the Predator still holds its position as the most celebrated boot on the planet (we all know the story). But this latest release might be hard to stomach for some fans.

The adidas Predator LZ drops its second colourway of 2012 in line with the opening knock-out fixtures of the UEFA Champions League. The new Yellow/Black/Pink colourway keeps the boot in line with this years colour theme of the Champions League, as seen on the Finale 13 match ball.

The Predator LZ prepares its first assault on 2013 with the launch of a super-smart White/Gold/Black colourway. Ready to rival all previous Predator LZ releases for the title of best colourway, adidas are kicking off the year in fantastic fashion. They might have kept us waiting, but adidas have finally released an all-black Predator LZ. We've seen a mixed bag of colourways so far from the Predator LZ, but now adidas strip everything back with their traditional black-out edition. And surprise surprise, we love it! Adidas have designed an outrageous new look for the Predator LZ SL, which could possibly trump all Predators that have gone before. The design brief is truly open for the Predator range now, as we embrace synthetics, lighter weight and a colour scheme to make Craig Johnston shudder!

We've seen an array of colourways on the Predator LZ since the launch 6 months ago, some controversial, some extraordinary and some just missing that classic Predator feel, but the arrival of the new Black/Pop/White LZ proves to traditional Predator fans that adidas haven't neglected the Predator's famous roots.

Initially previewed by Real Madrid players Angel Di Maria and Alvaro Arbeloa, we can now officially unveil the new distinctive colour addition to the the Predator line. The colour palette for the adidas Predator LZ football boots has been the most eye-catching in the history of the Predator range, and a true sign of the times.
