Football Boots > Nike Tiempo Legend IV Football Boots - White/Black/Crimson & Black/White/Green

We've paired up the two new releases for Nike's long-running Tiempo range, which unlike the rest of Nike's new year/spring 2013 launches, take design cues from the more classical football boot look.

Both the white/black/crimson and black/white/green Nike Tiempo Legend IV soccer shoes are equally sleek and stylish, yet manage to impart a more wild and outrageous personality through Nike's use of bright colour. Alongside style, Nike have once again teamed up the Legend IV with their innovative ACC technology.

The Tiempo range has a traditional reputation and is rarely treated to loud colourways. Packing all of the charm and class of every Tiempo release, these two new classic looks are sure to be a real hit with the fans and players. Fittingly these stylish boots will be worn by the likes of Andrea Pirlo and Gerard Pique.

In a significant move testament to the success of the technology, each of the brand's four silo's have been coated with Nike's All Conditions Control (ACC) technology which allows the boot's surface to maintain the same level of friction, touch and control on the ball in wet and dry conditions.

The ACC benefit is created by a special treatment during the development of the upper materials to deliver a consistent feel on the ball at all times. Its aim is to eliminate the difficulties that come with receiving and passing the ball in wet conditions.

Alongside the advancement of the upper, the Tiempo Legend IV features a combined super soft k-leather and Nike's revolutionary Kanga-Lite material. While the leather importantly surfaces the front of the boot for excelled touch, the Kanga-Lite is used in the lateral mid-foot and heel area to offer additional support whilst improving the boots water retention.  The quilted stitching is one of the key elements of the new  Nike Tiempo Legend IV football boots and is essential in providing a new level of touch and feel.

Another popular feature found in the Nike Tiempo Legend IV cleats is the 'FITSOLE' sock-liner, that has previously been used in Nike running shoes. Now customized for football, the new sock-liner is thinner, bringing your foot lower to the ground. The synthetic leather cloth material with non-slippage patterns on the surface allows the side-to-side movement required in football.

The two new colourways will be Nike's lead Tiempo boot to kick-off 2013. Available to pre-order now, the white/black/crimson and black/white/green Nike Tiempo Legend IV ACC boots will retail worldwide for around £130 GBP / $165 USD / €140 EURO (FG).

Let us know what you think of the new white/black/crimson and black/white/green Nike Tiempo Legend IV ACC football boots. Share your thoughts online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

Both quite nice, but I'm not a big fan of that random bit of red or orange or adidas-style warning bit by the top of the laces, as they change what would be a great looking, popular boot in my opinion to an opinion dividing boot, so perhaps they should have used a different colour there or just kept it white, although in all honesty I think that minor detail might grow on me. Also I think that the Mercurials need a White(Upper)/Black(Swoosh) colourway, similar to this one, and that the Tiempos need some one colour boots, like blackouts or whiteouts, as they would sell very well I think.

I wonder if ACC Technology is going to be a given in future Nike Boots or if they are going to make both ACC and no ACC (like with Elite Series)

I don't like the Black one that much but the white tiempo is org*smic.

Did anyone else notice that these two colors are the same exact ones the Adipure 11Pro launched when released?

Awesome!

Will buy the black ones as they remind me of the first Nike boots I had as a kid around 1994. They were black with a fluoro yellow swoosh on.
