Football Boots > Pantofola D'Oro Antares Football Boots - Yellow/Black/Fluoro

If you're after a pair of football boots that are quite different, and unlike anyone else's in the changing room, then take a look at this launch colour of the new Pantofola d'Oro Antares football boots. A new addition to their Fall/Winter 2012 collection, which can only be described as a hand-crafted marvel.

Launching this October, the Antares line will feature a collection of unique and classic colourways. Which add a different look to Pantofola d'Oro's boot catalogue, but remaining true to their philosophy and treatment of leather uppers.

We're anticipating opinions to be divided on these yellow/black/fluoro versions of the Antares football boots. But you can't deny the quality Kangaroo (Canguro) leather upper, which has been through an authentic tanning and dyeing process in Tuscany, Italy. And which is another statement colour combination, highlighting once again the unique work Pantofola d'Oro are doing in the football boots world.

In the boots community Pantofola d'Oro are the classic cars, they're the old Aston Martin or Ferrari 250 rolling around the Swiss Alps. Whilst the Bugatti Veyron and Lamborghini Gallardo are the Vapor and adizero racing into the distance. More of a refined football boot, a Pantofola d'Oro brings a unique style, look and grace to the pitch.

Pantofola d'Oro football boots are modern-day performers that celebrate the past by encapsulating the spirit and passion of the Azzuri. For those not familiar with how Lazzarini football boots first came to the attention of the masses, it was thanks to the legendary Juventus player John Charles. Being one of the first customers of Lazzarini's, the Juventus man described the boots as 'golden slippers', or in Italian, 'Pantofola d'Oro'.

Since that day in the Italian brands history, some of the games greatest players have formed associations with the golden slippers. Fabio Capello, Johan Cruyff, Roberto Mancini, Marco Van Basten and Paolo Di Canio have all worn Pantofola d'Oro boots during their careers and have helped make the brand highly respected.

Tradition and history aside, Pantofola d'Oro create real quality, soft and comfortable leather football boots designed to perform to the rigour of the modern game. With a classic timeless design, the Antares football boots are a lightweight and flexible boot made from the softest K leather available.

They're the only football brand born in Italy that remain 100% Italian, the boots are all handcrafted in Ascoli and although this goes against the grain for modern boot construction, that's exactly what we like about Pantofola d'Oro.

Pantofola d'Oro football boots continue to be highly sought after and the new Yellow/Black/Fluoro Pantofola d'Oro Antares boots will be available from October 1st and will retail worldwide for around £120 GBP / €140 EURO / $180 USD.

Let us know what you think of the new Yellow/Black/Fluoro Pantofola d'Oro Antares football boots. Share your thoughts online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

Spikes are bad when it's rainy...it's like having a slippers and that's because the spikes are too much one near another.

I had the white/black ones and they are very comfortable and lasted perfect for more than a year.

It will last more than all modern boots, maybe the same with tiempo or umbro specialis, cus they are of the same kind.
