Football Boots > Penalty Brasil 70 Ultra Football Boots - Black/White/Yellow & White/Blue/Black

Brazilian brand Penalty were founded in Sao Paolo back in 1970; and it's an historical moment they've chosen to celebrate with this signature boot range. So take a look at both colourways of the new Brasil 70 Ultra football boots, and let us know what you think...

The 'Ultra' versions we're featuring here are the elite model in the Brasil 70 range, as they offer the exclusive Penalty Sensor leather. A unique leather upper which has undergone a hydrofuged treatment, to make the material more supple and able to form to the wearer's feet.

It's no surprise to see a classic Brazilian brand launch a top-end leather boot, and when it comes to footballing pedigree, having your foundations in the Samba nation certainly puts you in good stead. Making the Brasil 70 Ultra football boots definitely a boot choice for the more nostalgic players and fans out there who prefer the stylish and simple look.

A flagship boot for the company, the Penalty Brasil 70 Ultra is all about quality materials and quality construction. The leather as we've mentioned is top level, and significant attention has been paid to the stitching lines as you can see. So the large one-piece material which wraps around the mid to fore of the boot, both holds it's shape and is durable.

With a quality natural performance upper, robust construction and comfortable padding, it seems brands like Penalty could take advantage of the gap Nike, adidas and Puma are creating in the market. Look to any of the top three brands, and they no longer seem interested in delivering a solid leather performance boot, which means a boot like the Brazil 70 Ultra is a real option for buyers.

It's not all classic style and nostalgia with the Penalty Brasil 70 Ultra soccer cleats. As Penalty have combined new technologies and innovation from their speed silo the S11 Pro, and implemented through combining nylon and TPU for an extremely lightweight and flexible outsole.

Since launching their first football collection over forty years ago, Penalty has continually improved its profile through partnerships with Sao Paulo FC and the Brazilian Futsal Team. Now as the company enters a new era, and with the 2014 World Cup in Brazil on the horizon, Penalty could be a brand to keep an eye on.

The new Black/White/Yellow and White/Blue/Black Penalty Brasil 70 Ultra football boots are available to order now from selected online stockists, with a global retail price of around
£110 GBP / €135 EURO / $185 USD
.

If this were an Adidas release, SB'd be buzzing about how amazing these were and how they know when to go back to their roots.

@ jeffzie. thats a *** comment. i hate that line almost as much as : i play this position, what boots should i wear???

what ever makes you feel comfortable and makes you play your best. i dont  care what it says on the side. for that same reason i have a pair of under armour 10k pro 2 because they have a great fit and also just bought myself some dead stock puma cellerator 5 from 2004. my feet have never been happier.

these boots just look like a pair of old lotto stadio. and yes i like leather boots to, but having a wide foot kind of narrows down ones options. so any puma king before 2000 or the reissued top 1982 will do.

@ lynnavon02 :  i think soccerbible is handling it. we dont have to agree, but we can still talk to each other in a descent tone. i think that's the most important thing. show respect on and off the pitch.

@ ned ved :  i will just repeat what you already read yesterday. by indifferent i ment not god or bad, and it was still better then someone writing first ;)
