Football Boots > Asics Lethal Flash Football Boots - Green/Lemon/White

Asics are upping their game ahead of the 2012/13 season, as we've already seen the launch of the Lethal Tigreor 5 and now they've revealed these brand new and brightly coloured Lethal Flash football boots.

Asics are a successful brand on the continent, in such European countries as Italy, and their heritage in running performance is almost unrivalled. Now through, they are putting more focus on their football boots, and the Asics Lethal Flash is just one of a number of impressive releases for the 12/13 season.

Unsurprisingly, due to their running heritage Asics have designed the Lethal Flash football boots with particular attention given to player comfort, posture, form and performance. Investing a lot of time and development into their outsole, as they look to harness peak performance from the wearer.

As featured on the Lethal Tigreor 5, the Lethal Flash utilises the HG10mm a heel gradient of 10mm which shifts body mass forward, to reduce strain on lower limbs and help reduce the risk of injury. The heel gradient also aids bio-mechanics, in that the player and feet are in a more prone position for sprinting.

Asics' running research continues into the midfoot of the boot, and has their Space Trusstic technology which allows for greater midsole deformation and more efficient foot function. The outsole is finished with a unique moulded stud configuration, all of which is in a quite stunning all-white unit.

The stud configuration of the Asics Lethal Flash football boots is one developed uniquely by Asics. They've taken principles from within the boot industry, and applied their own shaping. Towards the toe area are some slight bladed studs for toe-off acceleration, whilst for the midfoot there is ridged support and towards the heel there is an additional stud for stability.

With a boot like the Testimonial on their books, you can be sure Asics have crafted a quality upper for the Lethal Flash. Although the upper is a synthetic leather (hence the reduced price), the material is lightweight, comfortable and supple. The construction is a traditional one, with centred lacing and classic stitching around the forefoot.

We can't mention the upper without acknowledging the stunning colour combination. Green seems to look good on any boot, and add a splash of yellow and white you've got quite a summery looking boot, that makes a bold statement on-pitch.

The Asics Lethal Flash football boots could potentially be a popular choice for players looking to branch away from the mainstream boot brands. Asics are looking to enhance their global appeal, and if they continue to deliver advanced performance with a unique look they will certainly get you noticed.

Should you fancy something different for next season, they are available to order now from selected online stockists. You'll be able to pick up a pair of the mid-priced Green/Yellow/White Asics Lethal Flash football boots for around £85 GBP / $130 USD / €100 EURO.

I've never warn any Asics boots but these i actually rather like, all of you Nike fans ect... stop hating because they are probably better than most of the boots you like.

I think the colourway is interesting, but the boot actually still looks quite nice. I give them a thumbs up.
