Football Boots > Mizuno SuperSonic Wave 3 Football Boots - Black/Yellow

Mizuno have given us our first taste of their 2012/13 season boot line up! The Japanese brand have already had a stellar year, and with their prize asset Hulk on the brink of a sensational Premier League move, it could be an exciting season for everyone's favourite Japanese brand.

Fresh through the doors of SoccerBible HQ arrive the new Mizuno Supersonic Wave 3. Mizuno's premium 'control' silo has been designed as the ultimate boot for close-control at speed. The result of extensive testing and hidden engineering, the Supersonic Wave 3 is another step forward for one of the brand's fastest growing boots.

Delivered in a no-nonsense Black/Yellow colourway, the Mizuno Supersonic Wave 3 football boots are traditionally inspired by Mizuno's back-catalogue of classic football boots. Built with modern technologies to help offer the benefits of comfort and control, Mizuno's third generation Supersonic Wave blends elite performance with heritage design.

Mizuno pride their football boots on unrivalled comfort. No corners are cut when it comes to ensuring the best fit for the player. The Mizuno Supersonic Wave 3 offers a luxurious fit with the highest grade kangaroo leather upper and suede collar lining. The boot delivers the highest levels of comfort and support.

Introduced on the Supersonic Wave 2, Mizuno's updated design still features the unique Feather Touch System (FTS) on the outside toe area. The systems benefits dribbling and control by using two types of memory sponge under the upper. The FTS is designed to reduced the rebound between ball and foot contact.

The two different 'rebound sponge' materials that form the FTS system at the front of the boot are a low thickness MicroFibre synthetic found in the left half of the toe-box, which keeps the ball closer to the foot. And a K leather high rebound sponge makes up the remaining front area of the boot, providing a rich natural feel.

Two fundamental skills in ball control is pulling the ball towards you and rolling the ball away. Mizuno's highly considered Tiger Claw outsole provides optimum flexibility, traction and acceleration. The stud configuration offers a conical and balded stud shape with two densities that make the outsole incredibly lightweight – just 80g.

The outsole of the Mizuno Supersonic Wave 3 comprises of a soft outside with a Pebax core, making it incredibly light with a soft feel. A reinforced mid-foot with flex grooves is complimented by the compact Wave insert under the heel of the outsole.

Available in both FG and SG stud options, the Black/Yellow Mizuno Supersonic Wave 3 football boots are available to order now from selected online stockists. Fancy a pair for the new season? They'll set you back roughly £130.00 GBP / $200 USD / €160.00 EURO.

Have Mizuno delivered another winner with the Supersonic Wave 3, or did you prefer the design of the Supersonic Wave 2? Let us know what you think! Join the conversation online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

@soccerbilbe: it's very interesting that Nasri and Menez  (both in the adidas Predator LZ campaign) switching back to adidas F50! The LZ is not only ugly, this shoe must be very *** on the pitch! Menez tests now Nike Mercurial Vapor VIII and Tiempo Legend IV in the French training session!

Here wears Menez Predator LZ: www.gettyimages.de/.../145378499 later he wears F50, after that Nike Tiempo Legend, then F50 again and now Vapor! But maybe you're blind?

This look ugly on fotos, just same ugly like Black Morelia NEO(Black,Red,white). But in the pitch they will look awsome. Of course this version is for Jonas, so it will suit Valencia´s jersey. 245grams for size 9US officially in japanese website, they could reduce weight to around 200-210grams. Still great shoes.

@Dunk: Good spots!  I would imagine that they were looking for shoes that were already broken in (F50's) or boots with softer uppers (Legends, Vapors)  I wonder how adidas feels about that!
