Football Boots > Umbro GT II Pro Football Boots - Silver/Black/Red

Launched at the end of 2011, The Umbro GT Pro II football boots have had their first colour update of 2012. This new Silver/Black/Red colourway will definitely stand-out on pitch, and we can expect to see the likes of Tottenham's Kyle Walker and Sunderland's Connor Wickham wearing Umbro's lightest, fastest and most futuristic boots yet!

Umbro's second generation GT Pro is a considerable step forward for their speed silo, venturing into a very competitive speed market with an eccentric look fitting of a speed boot. Take a look at the new Silver/Black/Red Umbro GT II Pro and share your thoughts online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

The original Umbro GT Pro found relative success in the speed market, offering a well-priced alternative to the competition. With a strong line of colourways, the Umbro GT had its moments in the spotlight - most noticeably with Kyle Walkers screamer against Arsenal! Now with a new design and interesting paint job, the Umbro GT II Pro is ready for a successful 2012.

The Umbro GT II Pro features a lightweight Japanese micro-fibre upper that provides both softness and strength, with asymmetric concealed lacing for a greater striking surface. Converts to the Umbro GT were quick to compliment the boots great fit - a focus Umbro have looked to further improve with the GT II Pro football boots.

The Umbro GT II Pro comes with a lightweight sole plate that is built to give improved grip and traction giving you an extra boost when you're skipping away from defenders. The Umbro GT II Pro will be available in both SG and FG stud configurations, with the FG blades hollowed out to further lighten the load.

Built on a newly developed anatomical last, the Umbro GT II Pro soccer cleats are designed to offer the player a better fit, while the removable sock-line with Poron Performances inserts complete the feeling of comfort we've come to expect from Umbro football boots.

The Silver/Black/Red colourway is a bright, eye-catching and high-contrast colour scheme that may divide some Umbro fans. Inspired by movement and speed, the faded Red instep of the boots feature a large concealed Umbro logo and is one of the most unique aspects of the Umbro GT II Pro. Whilst also being a print application for enhanced ball touch, and ably assisted by ridged lines radiating from the toe area out through the Umbro logo.

The new Silver/Black/Red Umbro GT II Pro football boots will be available to order from 14th January, and are available to pre-order now. You'll be able to bag yourself a pair of Umbro's latest speed boots for around £90 GBP/$140 USD/€ 110 EURO.

After giving you an exclusive hands-on look at the new Umbro GT Pro II football boots, we'd love to hear your thoughts! Drop us a comment and let us know what you think. Join the conversation online,  on Twitter and on Facebook.

Awesome! The colors don't clash like adizeros, but they fade into each other nicely, but still stand out
