Football Boots > Joma 'Pepe Reina' Total Fit Football Boots - Red/Green/White

Joma have fused their Total Fit football boots with lead icon Pepe Reina, in one of the most unique boot collaborations we've seen. These Limited Edition Pepe Reina Joma Total Fit football boots feature artwork of the Spain and Liverpool star, and SoccerBible had exclusive access to not just the boots, but to the player also...

Pepe Reina is one of football's most colourful characters, a personality amongst fans and team-mates alike, Reina has won the World Cup and FA Cup, forced Fabregas to wear a Barca shirt whilst still an Arsenal player, and even conceded a goal to a beach ball! Now in tribute to their leading star, Joma have customised a limited number of Total Fit football boots with artwork of the goalkeeper in a celebratory pose.

SoccerBible was on-hand to unveil the new Joma Total Fit football boots to Reina for the first time. Fresh off the plane from Toledo Spain, with the paintwork barely dry! We were privileged to give Reina his first glimpse of his Special Edition footwear to see his reaction. Now it's time to give the SoccerBible audience a first look at this unique boot release.

The Joma Total Fit football boots are a no-nonsense soccer shoe, crafted from a single piece of high quality kangaroo leather. Through using a single piece of Kangaroo leather, Joma have removed the need for any internal stitching, offering a supremely comfortable boot that moulds to the players foot from day one.

By using one cut of leather for the upper, Joma have been able to reduce the weight of the boot to a respectable 270g. The natural kangaroo leather offers a more flexible and stronger material, as it naturally has more densely packed fibres, the end result is an extremely comfortable and responsive boot that offers great ball touch and control.

The Pepe Reina Joma Total Fit football boots incorporate Joma's unique 360º fit system, designed to adjust to your foots round profile to optimise the use of energy. The reinforced system and the Pulsor shock absorption, combine with the k-leather upper to offer an all-round glove-like fit over the entire foot, for comfort and response.

The out-sole of the Joma Total fit has been narrowed from previous Joma football boots, allowing Joma to minimise the weight of the boot without being forced to compromise stability, thanks to the solid grooved plate that runs under the mid-sole. As for the stud configuration, the FG Joma Total Fit features 14 standard conical studs, and we're not sure if the Reina boots will be released in SG versions but if so they'll have the standard 6 stud version.

Joma football boots have built a strong reputation over the years through their continual use of the worlds finest premium grade leather alongside a high standard of craftsmanship. We've rarely seen them stray into the eccentric, but in a modern era of brightly coloured football boots, Joma have come up with one of the most unique looking boots we've seen for some time!

The artwork is handpainted onto the boots in a studio in Spain, which means every single boot is completely unique. The right boot is the one featuring Pepe in full celebratory mode, whilst the left features the signature of the Spanish stopper. There are additional touches also, including the outer glow to the Joma logo and the shading on the heel, whilst the Special Edition Reina boots have also been given a makeover from the standard Total Fit's with the green outsole, stitching and boot inner.

The new 'Pepe Reina' Joma football boots are on an extremely limited edition release, and will make a great addition to the collection of boot fans, fans of Pepe Reina, Liverpool, Spain and Joma. The price has yet to be confirmed, as has the date, but the boots could be available from as early as January 2012, but we'll keep you updated.

We'd love to hear your opinions on the new Limited Edition 'Pepe Reina' Joma Total Fit football boots, when you consider not even the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi can boast such bespoke footwear! Have your say and join the conversations with the SoccerBible community online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
