Football Boots > adidas adizero RS7 Pro II - Blue/Electricity/Blue

Adidas are bringing miCoach to Rugby with the exciting release of the adidas RS7 Pro II – the worlds first Rugby boot to feature a miCoach system. Despite falling into the Rugby boot category, the RS7 series has already crossed the Rugby/Football divide, making the boot a realistic option for footballers! Will we be seeing more footballers wearing the new adidas RS7 Pro II?

The RS7 franchise returns for its second instalement, now fully equipped with adidas' revolutionary miCoach technology. While the design remains along the same lines, the new adidas RS7 Pro II is sure get and interesting reaction from some f50 fans! Take a look and share your thoughts online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

Players including QPR's DJ Campbell have proved the RS7's worth on the football pitch, making it a genuine alternative to the popular f50 adizero. The original RS7 Pro was met with a resounding thumbs-up from football fans and the latest design for the adidas RS7 Pro II raises the game once more for adidas' lightest ever Rugby boot.

Evolving the look of the original adidas RS7 Pro, the updated design includes larger three-stripe branding on the instep alongside a newly introduced RS7 logo. The same synthetic printed application on the SprintSkin upper remains, designed to offer improved control when kicking in wet conditions.

Much like the adidas f50 adizero, the new adidas RS7 Pro II has been designed with adidas' revolutionary ultra lightweight SprintSkin upper and sprintframe outsole. The SprintSkin upper is designed to fit and feel like a second skin for maximum ball feel, minimum weight and maximum comfort. Asymmetrical lacing provides a larger kicking surface and more foot-to-ball control.

New features to the adidas RS7 Pro included the TPU Support Bands on the interior of the boots, providing greater stability and support for sharp, sudden changes of direction. For a secure fit, the adidas RS7 Pro boots feature an innovative 3D Puff Print on the heel lining, helping to prevent heel slippage.

The adidas RS7 Pro's Sprintframe utilises hollow core construction to strip out unnecessary weight, making it 50% lighter than other TPU rugby boot outsoles. Available only in a SG sole-plate, the adidas RS7 Pro II features rounded aluminium screw-in studs for optimal traction on wet surfaces, while fixed triangular Traxion studs allow sharper breaking and instant acceleration.

Weighing just 165g, the new adidas RS7 Pro II boots are a real contender in the speed market! The Blue/Electricity colourway is available to order now from selected retailers. Expect to pay around £145 / $230 USD / €170. Would you consider the adidas RS7 Pro II? Share your thoughts online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

The micoach ruins these cleats. the thing on the bottom just makes it look terrible. The design is good but wouldnt get it just because of the micoach.

@Arian I'd assume it's something like "Rugby Series" and then the 7 is because the boot is designed for backs - and there are 7 backs on the pitch, in Rugby Union anyway.
