Football Boots > Nike Mercurial Vapor CR7 VII Football Boots - Blue/Red/Obsidian

If the recent Mercurial Vapors haven't been eye-catching enough for you! Check out the new Nike Vapor CR7 VII football boots, featuring possibly the most unique graphics ever designed on a boot, they are a part of the new Cristiano Ronaldo Collection.

If Nike are looking to outshine their opposition on-pitch, then the new signature design for the CR7 Collection is sure to get players noticed! The signature boots mirror the performance and style Cristiano Ronaldo embodies with a disruptive graphic treatment on the left and right side of the boots. Take a look at our exclusive imagery and share your thoughts with the SoccerBible community online, on Twitter and on Facebook

As CR moves into position or tracks back the left side of his boot reveals a subtle pinstripe effect with a clear screen and pattern treatment. In contrast, the right side features a bold contemporary stripe of Mach blue and Solar red which is a signature color theme throughout the collection. Together, the boot graphics will create a striking flicker effect on pitch to stand out in the heat of game day competition.

The pattern and colours are formatted in such a way to integrate fashion and football, whilst connoting explosive speed. Not limited to just his footwear, the bespoke CR7 design has been rolled out across an entire range which includes footballs, training gear and fashion tees.

Nike seem to save their most eccentric and eye-catching colour schemes for the Mercurial range, which is perhaps one of the reasons they have such a cult following! The new Nike Mercurial Vapor CR7 VII football boots have picked up where the previous versions left off, and it seems the boots become more eye-catching with every release!

The original CR7 football boots were also rolled out across the Mercurial range, and they divided boot fans on a scale never seen before! They broke the mould for unique boot design with an extravagant pattern suitable for only one man. Cristiano Ronaldo's unique style, persona and flair was packaged into a boot that stole the spotlight wherever it went. It didn't seem possible that Nike could eclipse the Safari, but they've once again proved the doubters wrong!

The new Blue/Red/Obsidian Nike Vapor CR7 VII soccer shoes are set to take the spotlight and ignite the boot world once again, in a time when it seems the rivalry between adidas and Nike has never been fiercer! This bold eye-catching new colourway, has taken a different route to adidas though as despite being ridiculously eye-catching, there won't be vast numbers on pitch.

The Tepex glass-fibre chassis, that has become a Vapor favourite, brings you close to the Vapor's enhanced traction elements. The Vapor Traction II design means the forefoot FG studs are shaped to offer multi-directional traction, with central arms for acceleration/deceleration and optimal sprint traction.

The Vapor 7's FG sole-plate includes the same direct injected studs that incorporates 8 cored-out studs to provide a dramatic 12% weight reduction whilst enhancing strength and durability. Acceleration and sprinting is further enhanced by concentrated forefoot zonal spikes, inspired by tracks spikes to optimise grip at toe-off for an extra burst of speed, giving you an advantage over the opposition.

The new CR7 upper of the Mercurial Vapor VII is constructed from the same Teijin micro-fibre that is designed to improve comfort, flexibility and help a players touch. The upper is enhanced with specifically placed 'ball-control coating' on the lateral forefoot, to aid control of the ball at top speed.

If you want to get your hands on a pair of the new Blue/Red/Obsidian Nike Mercurial Vapor CR7 VII football boots, Nike have priced their newest release at around £150 GBP / $240 USD / €170 EURO and they are available to order from selected retailers from 18th November.

Now you've had a look at the brand new Nike Mercurial Vapor CR7 VII football boots colour-way, are you a fan? Share your thoughts with the SoccerBible community online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
