Football Boots > adidas adiPure IV Football Boots - Black/Silver

The new releases are coming thick and fast here at SoccerBible, and as a lot of the boots won't be seen on-pitch for some time, SB has the most full and up-close look at the latest soccer gear on the web. Next up are these brand new Black/Silver adidas adiPure IV football boots.

The current hype around adidas concerns their latest most innovative football boots, the adizero miCoach, so perhaps to appease the football traditionalists out there adidas have released these classic Black and Silver versions of the classically styled adiPure's.

Designed to deliver style and performance, this latest adiPure IV football boots are the epitome of both. It's no coincidence that the adiPure range has established itself as the boot of choice for many of the world's finest exponents of the beautiful game. We're not sure which players we can expect to see in this black and silver combination, but perhaps it could be the likes of Frank Lampard, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Xabi Alonso.

Amazingly, the adiPure is the 'new kid on the block' compared to the F50 range, and whilst you'd be forgiven for thinking they'd forgotten how to craft a classic leather performance boot, these new adiPure's soon disprove that theory. But the adiPure hasn't completely avoided the lab treatment, and can boast a trimmed-down weight of 280g, 35g lighter than the previous incarnation.

Another radical overhaul for the adidas adiPure IV football boots, is the repositioning of one of the famous three stripes from the rear to the front of the boot. This subtle shifting of the stripe only enhances the classic retro-look, especially when you combine this with the Silver, to give the adiPure IV added authenticity.

With 'OneTouch' construction the supple K-leather vamp is softer, more breathable and lighter than ever before for a fantastic fit and the ultimate first touch. The new stitching pattern on the vamp supports the natural stretch of the K-Leather for the best fit possible, yet retains consistent performance properties in both wet and dry conditions.

The adidas adiPure IV soccer cleats revert back to the symmetrical construction and central lacing, last seen on the original Pure but this time with a shorter K-leather vamp for a great performance fit and fantastic ball feel.

To help reduce the risk of injury and the stress on the Achilles tendon the adiPure's internal heel stabilizer offers maximum stability and protection, while the shallow external heel counter found on the adiPure III is retained on the latest incarnation.

Renowned for comfort, the latest versions of the adidas adiPure's certainly don't disappoint in this department. They feature a super-soft padded collar and lining, combined with an ergonomically pre-moulded EVA sockliner and extra cushioning inserts in the heel for great comfort and shock absorption. For an additional secure and snug fit the lining incorporates an anti-slip finish, to prevent the boot from rubbing.

The stylish new Black/Silver adidas adiPure IV football boots will retail worldwide for around £125 GBP / $190 USD / €185 EURO. They're available to pre-order now and are expected to be available from 2nd December.

Now you've had a look at the new adiPure IV soccer shoes, let us know what you think. Share your thoughts with the SoccerBible community online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
