Football Boots > adidas Classics Collection

The adidas classics collection has been gracing elite pitches all over the world for over 20 years. Timeless classics worn in World Cup and European Cup finals, the adidas classics have done it all! A collection with a rich history, a collection that can compete in the modern game and a collection that epitomises the word 'Heritage'.

Check out our exclusive imagery of a football boot collection that demands respect from all involved in the beautiful game and share your thoughts with the SoccerBible community online, on Twitter and on Facebook

The adidas classics collection consists of the World Cup, Copa Mundial and Kaiser 5 football boots. Each one synonomous for durability, performance and style. Anyone who has worn a pair will fully understand why these are one of the most popular football boots of all time and have survived generations of releases.

This is a collection that cuts no corners, a design which focuses on delivering a well made boot that will last and perform time and time again, rather than attempting to draw attention with bright colors and modern technologies. There's a certain unspoken respect for players who wear the classic collection and it's no surprise to see them on pitch today mixing it up with latest releases!

The adidas World Cup football boots are a design of the highest quality, worn by footballing legends over the past two decades. The World Cup sets the benchmark for quality and with a faithful following from the beginning is firmly established as a real footballing icon.

Although the 1986 World Cup in Mexico will be remembered for Diego Maradona's famous and infamous exploits, it was England legend Gary Lineker who won the Golden Boot scoring 6 goals in his adidas World Cup football boots!

In 1979 adidas created the biggest selling boot, the 'Copa Mundial', a design which changed the way football boots were made. The Copa Mundial was crafted from soft kangaroo leather and was much lighter and easier to run in. The 1982 World Cup in Spain was the perfect stage for the revolutionary boot to make headlines, with players such as Franz Beckenbauer, Bryan Robson and World Cup final goalscorer Marco Tardelli all opting for the famous 3 stripes.

The adidas World Cup and Copa Mundial dominated world pitches for years, they were the must have football boot and a boot that could not be overlooked when it came to comfort and versatility. Although a less frequent sight in the modern game, there's no doubt the classics collection looks great on pitch and is still unquestionably a top end football boot.

The adidas Kaiser 5 football boots complete the impressive classics collection. Another traditional and durable product that whilst being a cheaper version of the Copa Mundial, still provide optimum comfort and durability. Many players will look at the classics collection and question the technology of the boots and the simple answer is; what these boots lack in technology – they make up in quality.

The adidas classics collection have played their role in football history and have been at the forefront of success on the pitch, a boot collection with a fan base stretching through generations. The fact that adidas created a boot so long ago that can still compete in the modern game is genius, a true football boot masterpiece!

They are a brilliant boot, I have 1 pair for whenever my feet are painfull, blisters bumps etc. I find the support in them a bit *** though always got painfull ankles after games. I prefer my Predators.

They aren't that durable for me though, but no boot is. I need atleast 2 pair each season.

I have had my adidas Copa Mundial for over five years. Amazing boot to say the least. I clean them up after each match/training session and treat them with Manchester leather food once every two months. I appreciate the fact that they are still made in Germany as I am more than happy to pay the price for this. My Copa Mundial though are now my back ups to my third generation leather adizero micoach F50's. I still lace them up durin mid week training sessions and love them just as much as when I first bought them. Great looking and performing boot that has withstood the test of time, 5 years 2-3 matches/playing session a week up until three months ago. Reccomend them to anyone.
