Football Boots > Under Armour Hydrastrike Pro Football Boots - Bobby Zamora Customised

There's always an air of excitement when a large parcel arrives at SoccerBible HQ, in anticipation of what goodies might be inside. So imagine our excitement when we opened our post this morning, to find not just two signed boots from Bobby Zamora, but for those boots to be completely new colourways!

These two pairs of Under Armour Hydrastrike football boots have been designed especially for Bobby Zamora, and of course we just had to share them with our fans. Check out our exclusive photography, and as always we'd love to hear your opinions by joining the conversations with the SoccerBible community online,Twitter and on Facebook.

We're unsure if these two new colours of the Hydrastrike Pro are expected to go on general sale, but they're certainly two good looking boots. The first is a completely whited-out boot with subtle red detailing, possibly a tribute to the Fulham home strip, whilst the second features a white and silver combination, enhanced with blue detailing.

For the Hydrastrike Pro, Under Armour have really upped their game and they could be a pioneering soccer cleat for UA. It's not just a great looking and comfortable boot, but by incorporating new features and technology, Under Armour could be set to rival the big boys in the market.

It was actually Bobby Zamora who debuted the Hydrastrike's in the Premier League, and he got them off to a goalscoring start with a goal against Arsenal. With just one glance you can see the time and development Under Armour have put into designing the Hydrastrike, with a distinctive two-tone upper constructed from quality materials and a high level of craftsmanship there for all to see.

The two-part upper is comprised of K-Leather towards the toe for great fit and feel, and a perforated microfibre midsole. The forefoot features a unique quilted style of stitching that allows the boot to flex and bend exactly where the toes need it. This area in particular is impressive, as up until now Under Armour have utilised synthetic materials in the toe area of their boots, but the Hydrastrike Pro is genuinely soft and comfortable.

To reduce weight, and improve comfort and performance the whole upper of the Under Armour Hydrastrike Pro soccer cleats has been given an unprecedented level of waterproofing, thanks to Under Armour's H20i treatment process. And the research and development doesn't stop there, as the midsole has been designed slightly wider to give a better anatomical fit, reducing the pressure on the metatarsals.

Further enhancing comfort is the Under Armour MicroG cushioning and 4D Foam insole, developed borrowing technology from their American football cleats and basketball shoes, for an anti-bacterial foot-bed that forms to the foot to provide optimal comfort.

Not that these football boots will ever grace a football pitch, instead it's great to showcase these bespoke Hydrastrike Pro football boots courtesy of Under Armour and Bobby Zamora, and we'll be keeping a keen eye to see if these colours ever make it onto the football pitch.

Now you've had a look at these unique Under Armour Hydrastrike's, let us know what you think. Share your thoughts with the SoccerBible community online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

@ D Keeper

Did you seriously not notice the signature on the red boots also?...And you ask why is the signature on the boots...I can only guess that it's on there because it just is...Btw..Nice boots..Good looking..Not too ''over the top''..I'm not mad on that stitching that goes from the side of the boot to the front....Looks a bit weird

To all of those that say under armour blows, go buy a pair, actually play in them, and then give us a proper review. Otherwise, your opinion doesn't mean ***

they look simple and really comfortable to play in. i think the name of the boot seems appropriate... they have a piercing and aerodynamic look. the brand recognition/marketing/logo style are unappealing however.

@FulhamFTW - THEY BLOW.  I tried UA boots and not only did they fall apart in two games, but they felt like they put weights on my toes.  Right back to my Pure's and comfort.

@ Tex....Which ones did you buy? I had the Dominate pro and they were just fine for me. I ended up selling them to someone else who still plays in them.

@FulhamFTW - Domintes as well. Black/Red/White.  Two cleats broke off in my second game.  The MPZ zone gave me blisters in that game too.  Never going back.
