Football Boots > Pele Sports 1970 Football Boots - White/Yellow/Black

Pele Sports have returned with a second instalment of their premium heritage football boot – the Pele Sport 1970. A traditional styled boot with a focus aimed at anyone who can't get enough Brazilian-themed enthusiasm for the game!

After two previous instalments that saw a reasonable player uptake, the Pele Sports 1970 football boots are back! SoccerBible is your only destination for an exclusive look at the new Pele football boots. Share your thoughts with the SoccerBible community online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

Pele Sports football boots are named after the World Cup tournament's in which Pele became a global phenomenon. The 1970 World Cup, where Pele most noticeably rose to prominence, saw Brazil dominate the tournament. Fittingly then, Pele Sports chose this momentous year to name their top-tier football boot.

Originally Pele Sports first foray into the boots market, the 1970 set out with a primary focus on premium quality. The upper consists of a one-piece kangaroo leather material, ensuring minimal stitching for a great fit. The kangaroo leather undergoes an incredible 150 separate processing steps before the final production stage to guarantee maximum quality.

When it comes to comfort and fit, the Pele Sports 1970 soccer shoes really excel. Attention has been firmly placed on crafting a shoe for all round quality. Although they're new to the boot market, the 1970's offer a retro feel with a comfort you'd usually associate with football boot classics!

Of course, so much premium leather means the boots sit firmly outside the speed boot weight range. The Pele Sports 1970 football boots tip the scales at 320g (11.3oz). The weight of the shoe has been sacrificed for comfort, but you certainly get a lot of classic retro boot for your money!

The quality of the upper is emphasised through the boots clean, classic design. The iconic Pele signature adorns the outside heel of the boot and tongue, coloured to match the stitching around the heel area. Modern design takes over the sole plate, with a dot matrix style print pattern made from number ''10s'' – the number made famous by Pele.

The Pele Sports 1970 football boots are offered in both fixed firm ground and traditional 6-stud soft ground sole plate options. No detail has been spared, with graphic attention given to each individual stud and the Pele signature also featuring on the outsole. The mid-sole also offers improved achilles tendon support through a 5mm raised heel area.

The new White/Yellow/Black Pele Sports 1970 football boots will be available to pre-order from early July and will retail worldwide for just £125 GBP / $170 USD / €145 EURO.

Now you've had your SoccerBible first-look at the new Pele Sports 1970 soccer shoes, let us know what you think! Share your thoughts with the SoccerBible community online, on Twitter and on Facebook

@bayern_n_boots31 don't be stupid.  all he did was ask if any pros wore them.  he didn't even say anything like I'm only going to buy these if pros wear them.  and since it apparently makes you mad, I'm going to ask.  Does anyone know if any pros play in bare feet?  I'm thinking about making the switch., but only if there is a pro that does it"

stop being stupid.

Pele would of made more money selling his idea to PUMA and having them market his cleat...  Its a cutthroat market out there and trying to come in with your own brand GL... Even if you are the worlds best player in the 1900's....

Boot choice is a very unique and individual thing, the type of player who's worn Copa Mundials wouldn't likely switch into a pair of Superfly's, or someone who wears black boots probably wouldn't jump at the PowerCat Elektro's. So

***** These are awesome! It's quite strange that they aren't  popular considering they're Pele's boots, i think the company needs to get some high profile sponsorships with top players and these boots could really take off.
