Football Boots > Umbro Speciali R Pro Football Boots - Black/White/Neon

Umbro's popular heritage football boot returns for another colour-up just in time for the 11/12 season! In typical Umbro fashion, the new Black/White/Neon Speciali R soccer shoes combine simple elegance with modern design.

Built for today's player who favours a classic look, the Speciali R combines tradition and modern innovation. SoccerBible is your only destination for an exclusive look at Umbro's new boot. Take a look and share your thoughts with the SoccerBible community online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

The Speciali has built a reputation for comfort and feel. The new Umbro Speciali R, 'R' standing for 'Revolution', is the latest in a new line of modern Speciali's. The new colour-way combines a black/white upper with a contrasting outsole. The bright neon green gives the boot a distinctive look, providing a strong contrast with the classic upper.

The new Umbro Speciali R football boots feature new design innovations that bring the iconic Speciali into the modern game. Constructed with Umbro's new leather material, 'Kanga Touch', the Speciali R is noticeably lighter than ever while maintaining the soft ball feel the boot is famous for.

The leather vamps at the front of the Umbro Speciali R are designed with the classic Speciali stitching to hold the shape of the boot and maintain consistent performance. They also feature a newly engineered toe box which offers more room and feel than ever before on a Speciali.

The unique A-Frame structure remains the boots stand-out point. The A-Frame ensures the required support and good fit needed during movement and ball striking. Sitting between the A-Frame construction is the newly designed lightweight tongue – a new feature for the Speciali R that replaces the traditional fold-over tongue.

The Umbro Speciali R football boots are equipped with a lightweight compression moulded in-sock, with Poron pads designed to provide optimum comfort. The Poron inserts allow optimal stickiness, protecting your foot from slippage and rubbing – a feature used in the T90 Laser III.

A TPU injected plate with blades delivers extra traction in the forefoot area of the boot. The Umbro Speciali R football boots are available in both FG and SG sole-plates, suitable for all playing conditions. The new Speciali R is a step forward in Speciali design, providing a sleeker and lighter boot than ever before.

The new Black/White/Neon Umbro Speciali R soccer shoes will be available to pre-order from early July and will retail worldwide for just £80 GBP / $130 USD / €95 EURO.

£80! Definitely getting this boot. And for all you blinkered people saying this sucks and is boring. Its NOT meant to be flashy, its a classic boot, stay on your popular bandwagon whereas like minded people like me prefer the classic boot.

Whateves.  These kicks have always been Tiempo knock offs.  And honestly, they are a really good boot for the cash flow.  Seriously, the old ones are awesome with the lace protector.  I have the red K-leather England edition ones with the three lions on the bottom.  Andy Carroll, John Terry and Waldrinho approved!

class boot, by a class company.  it's always funny to see people complain about quality boots.   this boot stows away from the stupid 'speed', 'control' and 'power' marketing ***. and it also isn't in a stupid pink colorway.  the people that makes these comments are bought into all the advertising, and are probably *** footballers themselves.

I used to LOVE my ols Speciali's!! The leather was awesome on them, by far the softest at the time! These look pretty good, but I'm just not liking the look as much as my old pair. Probably still very comfortable though. Mind you, I find all K-leather type boots very comfortable, regardless of manufacturer
