Football Boots > Puma V1.11 Football Boots – White/Black/Blue

SoccerBible are excited to introduce the all new White/Black/Blue Puma v1.11 football boots! A mammoth twenty one months and eighteen colour-ways after the first Puma v1.10 release, the German sports giants have announced the highly anticipated arrival of their next generation speed boots!

SoccerBible is your only destination for an exclusive look at Puma's new unique answer to speed! A firm favourite with amateurs and professionals across the world, the new Puma v1.11 soccer shoes have arrived in spectacular style. Take a look and share your thoughts with the SoccerBible community online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

Continuing with the Puma v1 speed theme, the new Puma v1.11 football boots incorporate lightweight technologies that enable all kinds of movements while supporting the player's speed to the maximum. The new Puma v1.11 soccer cleats feature subtle but important design modifications to create Puma's most advanced speed boot yet.

One of the most noticeable design changes is the introduction of dotted areas across the lightweight micro-fibre upper material. This new addition to the outfit of the Puma v1.11 football boots equips the v1.11 upper with enhanced padded zones that assist with passing/shooting/control.

Another key modification to the new Puma v1.11 soccer shoes is the newly designed lace cover. Held in place by an elastic strap and a TriHook fastener, the v1.11 lace cover ensures a snug fit that provides a smooth kicking area and unique look with the famous Puma cat arching across the front.  The central lacing, which sits underneath the newly designed lace cover, makes the boot suitable for various foot-shapes.

The new Puma v1.11 football boots enable greater playing stability, through an external heel counter and a Pebax frame that provides support to the outsole. The midfoot area is reinforced with a TPU composite which secures further stability and helps to avoid midfoot bending. This increased stability also enables an optimal traction as well as manoeuvrability, provided through the pointed stud configuration featured on the new boot.

Puma have dropped their textile material, and instead the Puma V1.11 soccer shoes features a premium lightweight microfiber upper material, which is softer than previous incarnations to give a comfortable fit and great ball feel. Finished in a clean 'Puma White', the white/black/blue Puma V1.11's will no doubt be a popular choice with v1 professionals across Europe!

The Puma v1.11 is the third generation football boot that uses the special Puma UNI technology, where the upper material is stitched rather than glued to the sole, providing the perfect fit by perfectly replicating the unique PUMA Aptolast. This unique construction minimises the number of layers between your foot and the playing surface.

After putting the new Puma v1.11 through their paces in the SoccerBible lab, we can confirm that the boots tip the scales at just 225g – the same weight as their leather upper alternative! In the competitive speed boot game, this won't challenge the adiZero but is just 15g short of the Mercurial Superfly.

The new Puma v1.11 soccer shoes arrive as the first major new
boot release of the summer period. We expect Puma's new speed boot will be met with a great number of new football boots all looking to stamp their presence on the upcoming 11/12 season.

The new White/Black/Blue Puma v1.11 football boots will be available to purchase from June 1st 2011 and will retail worldwide for around
£135 GBP / $200 USD / €150 EURO

Now you've had an exclusive SoccerBible first-look at the all new Puma v1.11 soccer shoes, let us know what you think. Share your thoughts with the SoccerBible community online, on Twitter and on Facebook

I don't even see a whole lot of technology improvements from the previous V1.10's. I mean Nike had more improvements from Vapor 6 to Vapor 7.

I wonder if this is only intended as an update to the V1.10's.  They usually skip 2 numbers i.e. v1.06 to v1.08 to v1.10, but only one number was skipped this time.  There may be a completely different boot, like a v1.12, that will be the next Puma speed boot coming out soon and it may be completely different.

people saying these boots are the same as previous ones, how is it any different than the adidas predator series? and actually, there have made a lot of changes...just haters.  personally, for my foot type, pumas have the greatest fit and after a couple games, mold perfectly to my feet.  They have also never ripped on me once like all adidas have for me.

is that black part on the sole made out of carbon fibre?

alegmane said:

I believe the soeplate is made from carbon fiber and why change the pattern if these provide everything a player needs. If you can take off and stop quickly. Turn and do everything well then whats wrong with the studs?
