Football Boots > adidas F50 adizero Leather Football Boots - Anodized Purple/Electricity

As part of the much talked about Anodized Purple/Electricity adidas F50 adiZero collection, adidas have released a leather edition of their new speed boot! With Barcelona securing a place in the Champions League final, could the new Purple/Electricity leather adiZero be the boot that finally tempts Lionel Messi out of his current 'Warning' adiZero football boots?

Leather adiZero's have always been a big hit with pro's and adidas fans. The new Purple/Electricity colourway has been met with an overwhelmingly mixed response. Even so, the new adiZero has been a hot topic since its release! SoccerBible is your only stop for exclusive images of the new adiZero soccer shoes.

If adidas are to tempt the worlds greatest player out of his current adiZero's, offering a leather option of the boot is a must! From the looks of things, adidas have pulled out all the design stops to please their number one player! The striking colours used are noticeably in-line with those of Barcelona. Adidas remain tight-lipped, but all signs point to a cameo appearance for the new adiZero's in this months Champions League Final at Wembley!

Unlike the Anodized Purple/Electricity F50 adiZero Prime, the leather F50 adiZero features a more predominantly purple upper with no 'infrared' TPU bottom frame featuring on the boot. The distinguishing 'infrared' colour continues to run through the front graphic, continuing its way up the boots tongue and heel.

With a countless list of pro's choosing to wear leather over synthetic, adidas continue to acknowledge the demand for leather speed boots. Besides Lionel Messi, other pro's that wear leather adiZero's include Arjen Robben, Emmanuel Adebayor, David Villa, David Silva and Karim Benzema. The new leather adiZero football boots have become a potent weapon for today's speed merchants who prefer a traditional upper.

Leather adiZero soccer shoes are a revolution in leather boot design. The adiZero Leather football boots give adiZero fans the chance to experience a super lightweight boot with the benefit of a more traditional upper. As a leather speed boot weighing just 175g, the leather adiZero's are relatively unrivalled in the speed boot market.

The world's lightest leather football boot benefits from a new last unique to the F50 series. You'll notice a wider yet flatter foot-bed which means the studs can be position closer to the outside of the sole. This works to give greater stability to the boot which is an essential part of any speed boot.

The FG plate features the triangular Traxion studs bespoke to the adizero range, placed at strategic positions across the sole unit that aids pressure distribution and are designed to give improved directional grip. The SG plate takes the form of a mixed sole version, which substitutes 6 removable aluminum studs at the toe and heel. Both sole plates offer stability through a sleeker midfoot area that also goes to creating a snug fit.

The new Anodized Purple/Electricity adidas F50 leather adiZero football boots will retail worldwide for around £140 GBP/ $200 USD / €165 EURO. They will be available to pre-order this week prior to their official release on June 1st.

Maybe Adidas should make an AdiPure out of these Anodized Purple..... bcuz it's actually a good colour. The dark-ish of the colour could give the AdiPure a shot of Nu' Skool Coolness while still being classy! Something the bright red, blue, ect colours had been lacking.....

Too bad the colour is being screw up by pairing it clashing colours.....

If there's one thing that adidas have learnt about getting your boots' noticed on pitch, then it's make them as brightly coloured as possible! But quite uniquely, adidas have been able to incorporate these bright colours into a quality leather
