Here's the next release for Nike's famous Tiempo range and it's the most controversial to date, because Nike have taken the bold step of colouring the boots for the first time! Have a full and exclusive look at the Team Red/Metallic Silver Nike Tiempo Legend III football boots...
Okay so we know Nike released the World Cup versions last summer, but as they were exclusive to the Elites that makes these Team Red colourways the first fully coloured Nike Tiempo Legend boots.
Nike have certainly given the boots a classy colourway, because then when it comes to ball touch and feel the Nike Tiempo Legend III
football boots are one of the elite performers in the market place. Continuing the tradition and benchmark the Tiempo range has set by being a
good-fitting, well-built performance football boot.
These latest Nike Tiempo Legend III soccer shoes have been
particularly praised for the softness of the kangaroo leather upper,
which offers the original performance characteristics associated with
the Tiempo boot, before the introduction of Kanga-lite on the Elite
Maintaining the focus on quality craftsmanship and performance, Nike keep a
central lacing system which pulls the boot and the unique stitching
together for a comfortable fit, and is covered with a leather tongue for
ball strike and style.
The Team Red colour really brings out the grain of the leather, re-affirming the quality and just importantly the durability of the upper. The durability of the leather is further assisted by the unique stitching pattern designed to prolong the boots' shape.
A newly formed heel counter blends into the design of the boot, and
provides stability and protection. The outsole has been redesigned as a
two-piece unit, which not only increases the leather on the boot but
also increases boot flexibility and player movement.
The new Team Red/Metallic Silver Nike Tiempo Legend III football boots are
available to pre-order now ahead of a 1st April release, and are
expected to retail for around £90 GBP/ $150 USD / €110 EURO / ¥11750 JPY.
Until now Nike had resisted the temptation to release the Tiempo Legend III in a bold and striking colour, so there's sure to be plenty of debate about these new versions - we'd love to hear your opinions...
