Football Boots > Puma v1.10 SL Football Boots - Parachute Purple/Tender Shoots/Ebony

Introducing a sensational new colour combination for the Puma v1.10 Super Light football boots! Check out the SoccerBible's full and exclusive gallery images of the brand new Parachute Purple/Tender Shoots/Ebony v1.10 SL's...

The v1.10 SL football boots are an incredible boot, which combine technology and innovative materials to create the lightest football boot on the market - weighing in at just 150 grams! To match the audaciousness of the v1.10 SL, Puma have come up with this Parachute Purple/Tender Shoots/Ebony colourway!

Puma's v1.10 SL football boots have been engineered to revolutionise movement and increase player speed. Inspired by the highly limited concept boot - the Puma v1.815 Ferrari - this new model now comes to the masses as the speed boot category gets ever lighter.

Puma have redefined lightweight footwear with the Puma v1.10 SL soccer shoes, which to be honest look just as suited on the running track as they are on the football pitch! Weighing a paltry 150 grams, the v1.10 SL has displaced the adidas adiZero as the lightest football boot in the world, and we've got some great exclusive pictures.

The Puma v1.10 SL upper is made from a superlight microfibre synthetic material, which is extremely soft for comfort and ball feel, and provides slightly more padding than lightweight counterpart the adiZero. Like the rest of the v1.10 range, the SL features a central lacing system with a soft and lightweight tongue, constructed to provide breathability.

The outsole and external heel counter of the Puma v1.10 SL football boots has been engineered from a revolutionary Thermoplastic. The Pebax material offers outstanding mechanical, physical and chemical properties, by bridging the gap between thermoplastics and rubbers.

In short, this means the v1.10 SL's outsole offers stability, durability and support at a fraction of the weight. And is further complimented by a Carbon Fibre insert in the outsole, enhancing player movement through reactivity, flexibility and midfoot stability.

When the SoccerBible gave the Puma v1.10 SL a Play Test, it undoubtedly felt like we were wearing a ridiculously lightweight boot. The upper finds a nice balance between the rigid upper of the Superfly and the thin upper of the adiZero, and is soft and comfortable. You get great ball touch and feel, and despite a slightly narrow last, the boot is very comfortable courtesy of the soft upper forming to your feet. All of which is complimented by the outsole, which responds to player movements.

The Puma v1.10 SL football boots are officially the lightest football boots on the market, and with this stunning Parachute Purple/Tender Shoots/Ebony colourway are certainly going to cause a lot of debate. Due to be released on the 30th October, we can expect these speed football boots to cost around £185 GBP / $275 USD.

Much better the new CR7 Safari Color way. these are also lighter and less expensive than the superflys. however the adizero's still have one minor thing left on them that is better than these. i like traction system better. and to be honest if adidas put a carbon fiber insert in the adizeros i think that they would just as light.

KINGSTON_AUS said:

@jazzovani........ adizeros for sure. there  cheaper more comfortable and they are more likely to last longer. in saying that and you have a lot of money and can afford a new pair of boots often then you could look at getting puma SL's. but i still adiveros are heaps better.

Getsuga04: if adizeros had carbonfiber, they would be just like all the other carbon shoes and they would not be unique, adizeros are more comfortable and faster.
