Football Boots > Puma v1.10 Football Boots - Parachute Purple/Ebony

The new releases keep coming from Puma, and in particular for the popular v1 range. Check out the SoccerBible's exclusive images and full gallery of the latest addition to the speed family - the sleek looking Parachute Purple/Ebony v1.10 football boots...

The Puma v1.10 football boots have been around for a short while now, and there is no denying they are one of the most innovative and radically designed boots currently on the market. The v1.10 football boots are visually striking, and dare we say it, but these Parachute Purple/Ebony versions are particularly eye-catching due to their Halloween release!

The performance of the Puma v1.10 comes from a combination of synthetic materials which make up the boots upper, delivering great touch, feel and strike of the ball. Covering the fore-foot and lace-cover, the microfibre material provides a great striking surface, and is covered with a print application to increase friction, ball control and accuracy. Similar to a thin leather, the microfibre material is soft and flexible, but has the advantages of being highly abrasive resistant.

The medial and lateral quarter of the Puma v1.10 football boots is made from a textile material. This strong material has been treated with a dirt and water repellent coating, and provides comfort around the ankle and collar area.

The striking design feature of these Puma v1.10 soccer shoes is the Puma form-stripe. Engineered from a thermo-plastic, the form-stripe is not just aesthetically pleasing but it's texture offers enhanced ball grip, and support the boot's shape and structure, it's just a shame it doesn't glow in the dark!

The Puma v1.10 football boots feature a central lacing system, which improves the fit and combines with a comfortable last and insole. The boot replicates Puma's AptoLast, which was used during the v1.08 series and received positive feedback from such players as Samuel Eto'o, Nicolas Anelka and Peter Crouch.

Speed performance comes from the one-piece outsole, which features ilghtweight carbon-fibre embedded into the forefoot to distribute pressure and react to the foot flexing.

Performance is further enhanced by a solid heel counter for stability, and a midfoot TPU reinforcement (shaped as a 'V') to help prevent midfoot bending. The studs, which are very unique to the v1.10, are mounted on a lightweight frame and shaped and configured for smooth ground penetration to optimise traction.

The new Parachute Purple/Ebony colourway for the Puma v1.10 football boots are due to be released on the 30th October. Available in both firm and soft ground sole-plates, the new v1.10's are expected to cost around £120 GBP / $180 USD.

Now you've seen them we'd love to hear your opinion's on the latest colourway for v1.10 football boots, are they a ghoulish Halloween release or can they compete in the speed boots market...

i hate the tounge i just prefer the laces. But i think they should have made a different coulorway because they used the same one on the V1.10 SL. I want to see a barcelona colourway like blue, maroon and yellow.

Nice colorway but i think that it looks slightly better on the v1.10 SL's. still nice and they will make a great vibrant adition to the pitch. Also Thes remind me of the Chaomeleon Purple Adizeros a bit. On the SL's in person they remind me of them because the upper changes colors a bit like the adizeros.
