Football Boots > Mizuno Morelia Ultra Light 25th Anniversary Football Boots

The Mizuno Morelia football boots are a prestigious range steeped in history and tradition. Since the Morelia was first introduced back in 1985, they have gone on to be recognised as a true classic in terms of design and fit, a supremely comfortable professional level boot.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Morelia, Mizuno have released these commemorative Ultra-Light football boots. Everything the Morelia football boots stand for is represented in these Special Edition Mizuno football boots, and nicely finished with some embroidery on the heel.

Mizuno have taken special pride and pleasure in producing the 25th Anniversary Morelia football boots, as they are the pinnacle of one of their most popular and successful sporting products. Perhaps the most famous Morelia wearer is Brazilian playmaker and World Cup winner Rivaldo, but the boot has always enjoyed a passionate following. The Morelia's most ringing endorsement is that players who are not contractually obliged choose to wear them, this came apparent to us after our interview with Roque Santa Cruz, who informed us the boots are very popular in the South American leagues. A reputation that money can't buy!

The focus of the Mizuno Morelia football boots is on quality and craftsmanship, to deliver comfort and performance. The boot is constructed using lightweight Kangaroo leather, which is not only soft and comfortable, but shapes to your foot through constant wear to give excellent ball touch and feel.

In the style stakes the 25th Anniversary Mizuno Morelia football boots continue the classic look, the Morelia's are a subtle top-level performance boot which have never felt the need to be dressed in an elaborate colourway to grab attention. The precision crafted Pearl upper is finished with the classic fold-over tongue in Black, with Silver flashes and detailing adding a touch of class.

Continuing the true athletic fit, feel, lightness and performance the modern game demands, the 25th Edition Mizuno Morelia football boots incorporate a graded sole-plate offering enhanced flexibility and durability. The ultra-lightweight Firm Ground sole unit makes this boot the lightest ever made by Mizuno, featuring 13 specifically positioned PU studs that reduce stud pressure and offer excellent foot holding, traction and comfort.

The Mizuno Morelia must surely be recognised as a boot classic, it is inspirational to think of the amount of top-level footballers across the world who have at some point in their career worn a Morelia. Speak to most players who've worn them and they will tell you nothing feels quite like a Morelia, a sentiment that makes the 25th Anniversary Edition's a valuable addition to any boot collection. Expected to be available for around £110 GBP from 1st June, the Ultra-Light 25th Anniversary Mizuno Morelia football boots will come presented in a commemorative Anniversary Box.

These are fine boots, comfortable and durable. Much like the Copa Mundial they're what the pro's wear when they're not being paid to wear the boots that most of the commentors on here seem to be so in love with. Anyone who knows anything about football has time for the Morelia.
