The Football League Show

The Championship teams get a break due to the international weekend, so the focus is very much on League One and Two. MK Dons have appointed Karl Robinson as full-time coach after Paul Ince left the club at the end of last season, and they face Hartlepool in one of the games of the day in League One. Elsewhere, Southampton host Rochdale at St Mary's, while further along the south coast, Peter Reid's Plymouth entertain Brighton. Presented by Manish Bhasin.

World Cup's Shocking Moments 2010

Richard Bacon is assisted by David Seaman as he takes a hilarious look back at the 50 greatest shocks from South Africa 2010 - from Rob Green's blunder against the USA to the French team going on strike; from Uruguay cheating Ghana out of a place in the semi-final to Frank Lampard's infamous 'goal that never was'. There are also the brilliant moments that may have slipped under the radar - Fabio Capello daring to bully Stuart Pearce, Emmanuel Eboue speaking Korean and the madness of Maradona.

adidas F50i Tunit Football Boots

Here are the latest adidas F50i football boots releases in a new colour way for the speed series.

One of three stunning new releases, the adidas F50i football boots have a striking new colourway which celebrates the UEFA Champions League. And the SoccerBible is your first stop for full and exclusive images, along with all the technical specs you need to know before you splash your cash on a new pair of football boots.

The adidas F50i range has proven to be extremely popular this season, which is largely due to the boots' innovative design and performance attributes, but also because of the striking colourways they have been released in. And these brand new Scarlet editions are without a doubt the most eye-catching release so far.

The F50i range of football boots are the most recent and best-fitting adidas F50 Tunit boots ever! They have a sleek design with a synthetic upper delivering durability, lightweight feel and a second skin for amazing control, along with your choice of studs and chassis.

The upper is made from an innovative material developed by adidas called SprintSkin. The material is a single-skin so it gives a great touch and feel for the ball whilst reducing weight, and its synthetic properties mean it is durable to cope with the rigours of the modern game.

On the in-step the adidas F50i football boots feature a print application, positioned to assist ball control by increasing friction. And to further enhance ball contact, adidas have redesigned the lace-cover which is now thermobonded onto the upper creating a cleaner ball striking surface.

The standout feature of these new adidas F50i football boots is the Champions League star on the lace-cover, with the much coveted trophy imprinted in the centre. Combine this badge with the striking Scarlet colourway, and we think these football boots will be a popular choice amongst the players. We can imagine both Lionel Messi and Arjen Robben wearing these football boots in the competition, but they will look equally as good on the feet of David Villa and Emmanuel Adebayor playing in their respective leagues.

The adidas F50i football boots come with a choice of insoles so you can select between lightweight or comfort, and to further enhance the fit the boots have a padded boot collar and tongue. The clear section at the heel area is made from a stronger and sturdier thermoplastic than the rest of the boot, to provide the support, stability and protection you need and expect from a heel counter.

Unique to the adidas F50 range is the Tunit technology, enabling you to choose between studs or a street outsole, with the interchangeable studs suitable for soft, firm and hard ground surfaces so these boots can adapt and be worn in all playing conditions.

If you're eager to get your own pair of these brand new Scarlet/White/Gold F50i soccer cleats from adidas, they will be available to pre-order from today and are expected to hit the shelves around the 25th March! Costing around £125 GBP for a comfort pack and £100 GBP for the limited Pro-Lite editions.

I'm surprised Adidas came out with a new boot, the F50I cannot compete with the Nike Mercurials, I'm sorry, I like adidas, but there is no question about it. Nike is clearly the better brand when it comes to soccer boots. Enough said right there.

But I do like the F50i Tunits, they are good boots, the mercurials are slightly lighter because I currently wear them, but I've never worn the F50i, so maybe I will try them on sometime, because the new color is flashy, but the star I think they didn't need to add on the boot.
