Football Boots > Reebok Instante Pro - White/Black/Athletic Yellow

Those eagle-eyed boot spotters amongst you will have noticed Ryan Giggs sporting a new pair of Reebok football boots recently in the Premier League.

The Manchester United ace has played in Reebok football boots throughout the majority of his distinguished career, and has trusted them to deliver performance at the highest level. The current boot range Giggs is wearing is the Reebok Instante Pro football boots, and here is the latest colourway - the white/black/athletic yellow Instante's.

The Instante Pro football boots are Reebok's entry into the speed boot category. Facing fierce competition from some established boots in the speed category, Reebok have combated this by building a boot less obsessed about weight, but more about the transition of energy from the legs and onto the pitch, through boot quality and comfort.

The Instante football boots are slim fitting and feature a SmoothFit lining with a non-slip lightweight sockliner. Which means the boot moves in harmony with the foot, and is comfortable and responsive at all times.

The synthetic upper material is engineered to make this boot both light and durable, whilst providing a good feel for the ball. Which combines with a mesh-style design positioned down either side of the foot, to allow for better control of the ball when passing and dribbling, and aiding swerve, spin and accuracy when striking the ball.

The Reebok Instante Pro football boots have a traditional uncovered central-lacing system, which bucks the trend for speed boots. As does the stand-out heel counter, which undoubtedly delivers stability, support and protection, but with its large Reebok insignia is a real love or hate design feature.

An innovation that sets the Instante Pro's apart in the speed category is the Power Unit technology, visible in the images below. This provides a solid support for the foot and allows only a one-way flex of the boot - integral to improving shot power; because people don't realise the amount of energy lost when striking the ball through the foot bending.

The Reebok Instante Pro football boots certainly have unique styling, combined with some bold design elements incorporated to deliver performance. Available to pre-order now, these white/black/athletic yellow colourways will be released 1st February with both sole-plates expected to retail for around £110 GBP.
