The Football League Show

The Championship teams get a break due to the international weekend, so the focus is very much on League One and Two. MK Dons have appointed Karl Robinson as full-time coach after Paul Ince left the club at the end of last season, and they face Hartlepool in one of the games of the day in League One. Elsewhere, Southampton host Rochdale at St Mary's, while further along the south coast, Peter Reid's Plymouth entertain Brighton. Presented by Manish Bhasin.

World Cup's Shocking Moments 2010

Richard Bacon is assisted by David Seaman as he takes a hilarious look back at the 50 greatest shocks from South Africa 2010 - from Rob Green's blunder against the USA to the French team going on strike; from Uruguay cheating Ghana out of a place in the semi-final to Frank Lampard's infamous 'goal that never was'. There are also the brilliant moments that may have slipped under the radar - Fabio Capello daring to bully Stuart Pearce, Emmanuel Eboue speaking Korean and the madness of Maradona.

Football Boots > adidas adiPure III Football Boots - Black/White/Gold

Here are the brand new adidas adiPure III football boots, the latest edition of one of the classiest boot ranges on the market! Those eagle-eyed boot spotters amongst you may have noticed the likes of Kaka and Benzema testing these boot recently, and now the SoccerBible has the full lowdown...

The adidas adiPure football boots are a popular choice amongst technically gifted players, as the soft kangaroo leather uppers are crafted to the highest standards to deliver performance. It is no coincidence such playmakers as Kaka, Xabi Alonso, Frank Lampard and Gareth Barry opt to wear the adiPure, so does the adiPure III maintain the high standards?

The adiPure III football boots continue to use a kangaroo leather upper, as it is the ultimate natural material for comfort, ball touch and ball feel, and the adiPure's unique stitching holds the leathers shape and durability. For a classy finish, adidas have used shiny dress leather in the heel area for a high class finish and reduced weight.

Available in firm and soft ground versions, the outsoles offer adidas' Traxion technology for optimum grip and stud pressure distribution. And for the new soft ground adiPure 3 football boots, adidas have developed exchangeable hybrid studs to provide maximum ground penetration but with an increased forefoot flexibility. The boots also feature a stand-out white raised heel cap, for additional stability and comfort.

A nice new feature of the adidas adiPure III football boots is the redesigned padded collar. The super-soft collar retains that comfortable and snug adiPure fit, which is further complimented by the asymmetrical lacing system and the new tongue construction, which is no longer part of a wrap-around collar.

To provide comfort the adiPure III football boots have an ergonomically pre-moulded sockliner, with adiPrene foam inserts in the heel for additional comfort. And to prevent the foot from slipping, the sockliner has an anti-slip finish, which also prevents rubbing.

The brand new adidas adiPure III football boots are without a doubt a stylish addition to a classy boot range. The comfortable kangaroo leather upper gives great touch and feel for the ball, and allows the wearer to stroke the ball around the pitch and dictate play. So, if you're eager to get your own pair of the new adiPure III football boots from adidas, they will be available to pre-order from 12th December 2009 and are expected to hit the shelves for around £110 GBP for the SG and £100 GBP for the FG sole plate version.

i much preferred the wrap around collar of the adipure II and the look was also so much better. why did they even have to make and release a new model? what was wrong with keeping the II's out for a bit longer? they're barely a year old

How the hell does people know that they arent better than adipure 2? have you tried them out? ofcourse you haven't they arent even released.

Don't think adidas releases boots that are a downgrade from the precious ones.

Theses look really awsome btw, wasnt a big fan of the raparound system for the laces. A more classic look also

it's as if the Adipure 2 ate too much, got overweight and fat, and then had a baby with some football or baseball cleat that has a white heel.

it's too "rotound" for my tastes, but i bet it's a solid performance boot nontheless.

December 13, 2009 10:00 PM

Mr Reesety said:

I agree with viva that they are probably a really good comfortable boot. but i would rather have the adipure II's these are kinda ugly. when you see people wearing them it looks like they are trainers.

These are the best boots ever made! the only reason they look so bad in these pictures is cause they stuffed it to much making it look big and bulky. Nicest leather on a boot, nice traction, and the heel is so comfortable and doesn't slide at all.
