Football Boots > Power Football Boots - Under Armour Dominate - white/red/silver - 29/10/09

The Under Armour Dominate Pro football boots have been appearing on Premier League pitches up and down the country, with such players as Bobby Zamora, Paul Robinson and Danny Murphy trying them out. As a follow-up to the black and white colourways of the original Dominate football boots, Under Armour have released these new white/red/silver editions.

The Dominate Pro football boots are aimed specifically at power players, as they are a strong and sturdy boot to offer "power, protection and stability", but have soft and comfortable leather for responsive cushioning and durability.

To give added power and support the Under Armour Dominate Pro football boots utilise a "Modular Protection Zone" or MPZ (as shown below). This is positioned across the front of the boot creating a strong striking area, aiding the boot's power credentials, and offering additional protection from the material.

The soft and flexible leather upper of the Dominate Pro lays claim to excellent moisture management properties, to make the boot highly water resistant. The leather upper benefits from unique H2O technology, which means even when playing in wet conditions the boot will offer good ball grip and touch. And of course, the water resistance also means the Dominate Pro should remain lighter as the leather won't take on water.

The boots have an asymmetrical lacing system which means the instep is clean for passing and ball striking, but also provides an excellent fit and there isn't any excessive padding around the collar. The fit and support is further enhanced by the external heel counter, which is solid to provide stability and protection.

The sole and stud configurations are designed to reduce stud pressure and offer increased cushioning, whilst the specific stud placement is the result of research and development aimed to offer increased "metatarsal support and directional stability".

The new white/red/silver colourways are available in 6 stud soft ground and 14 stud firm/hard ground sole plates, with the soft ground editions expected to retail at around £130 GBP and £120 GBP for the firm ground editions. These new Under Armour Dominate Pro football boots will be available to pre-order from 1st November ahead of a 1st December release, and you can see them being worn on the pitch by Blackburn's Paul Robinson and Fulham's Bobby Zamora.

funny how th not so big brands in football get slaughtered by young people who only play that shoe because there hero wears it. i wonder how many shoes a company like now under armour would sell if ronaldo made a swith to them. Personally i have been looking for a boot to fit my foot, regardsles of the brand.  i've tried all the adidas, nike and puma realeses since 2001. favorite predator would be the mania. favorite nike the total 90 lll and puma would be the puma v1.08.

best boot until a month a go was thou the adidas copa mundial. Great boot and i love it. still do, but right now the under armour dominate pro is the best boot i have ever tried. the thight fit, great feel and monster comfort. so find your boot because it feels good to play in, not because someone else plays in it. and about the weight thing, so what if its heavyer then the others. if you needed a surtain boot to go past a man, wouldnt we all just get it. If you feel great in your boot, youll run that extra mile no matter what. Just a thought.
