The Predator PowerSwerve football boots were the ninth generation of the iconic Predator boot series, an ingenious range of football boots that began back in 1994. The original design brief was to produce a boot that could generate more power, more swerve and more control, and who can forget the first adidas Predator with classic black styling and extruding teeth-like rubber vamps - so it's amazing to see how far the adidas Predator has come!
The innovative technology associated with Predator football boots continued with the PowerSwerve editions. Styled onto the instep and toe area of the boots are six individual vamps that run the width of the boot, flanked by a panel of SmartFoam to enhance impacts. Combine this with the longer fold-over tongue, and you have a complete strike zone to generate increased swerve and accuracy.
The re-engineered PowerSwerve features on the removable insole to either add or reduce weight, depending on the players preference. The addition of an additional 30grams of tungsten powder - a lightweight yet effective material - to the PowerPulse chamber gives a pendulum-style effect when kicking, meaning your shots will become harder and faster.
