Launched back in May, the F50i TUNiT continues the evolution of adidas' speed component series with agruably the most complete edition to date. Utilising the inter-changeable stud and chassis system, the new F50i series is the boot of choice of Lionel Messi, Emmauel Adebayor and Lukas Podolski.
Boasting a choice of synthetic, climacool and leather uppers, the new F50i claims to offer the best fit of all the F50s to date and is fast becoming the boot of choice for the players with the quickest feet and best skills in the game.
Speed Boot Face-Off Contender: Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly

The Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly was one of the most anticipated releases earlier in the year, and the SoccerBible brought you all vital info from the exciting launch. Since then, the Superfly has experienced a troubled course but is now back stronger than ever, with arguably the most popular colourway to date in the shape of the Black/Volt edition.
The boot of choice of top pro's including Cristiano Ronaldo, Didier Drogba and Andrei Arshavin, the Superfly is part concept sprint weapon part ultimate performance product, but either way is one of the most in demand football boots around.

The tale of the tape shows the Superfly unsurprisingly takes it in the weight stakes, but as many players will know it's not all about shaving off the grammes. However with this drastic weight loss diet coming at a price, the F50i's option of a choice of material styles including a traditional leather upper converts many fans as does the smooth lace cover, offering a clean strking zone perfect for killer shots and strikes.
But now next season, both of the headline icon players for each of these boot series will be lining up to go head to head (or should that be toe-to-toe) in the same division for the first time, as the Superfly's talisman Cristiano Ronaldo will be re-igniting his rivally with adidas F50i starlet Lionel Messi in the Spanish Primera Division.
In fact, to spark the boot rivally even more Nike will be presenting Ronaldo with a special edition Black Vapor Superfly at his official Real Madrid unveiling on Monday - so remember where you heard this first and be sure to stay posted to the SoccerBible for the very best photos and info from the event!
But with all the technology and development behind the Nike Superfly versus the design and components of the adidas F50i, it is going to be a tough decision for you boot fans as to which is your preferred speed boot of choice!
