The Football League Show

The Championship teams get a break due to the international weekend, so the focus is very much on League One and Two. MK Dons have appointed Karl Robinson as full-time coach after Paul Ince left the club at the end of last season, and they face Hartlepool in one of the games of the day in League One. Elsewhere, Southampton host Rochdale at St Mary's, while further along the south coast, Peter Reid's Plymouth entertain Brighton. Presented by Manish Bhasin.

Richard Bacon is assisted by David Seaman as he takes a hilarious look back at the 50 greatest shocks from South Africa 2010 - from Rob Green's blunder against the USA to the French team going on strike; from Uruguay cheating Ghana out of a place in the semi-final to Frank Lampard's infamous 'goal that never was'. Football Boots > Speed Football Boots: Puma v1.08 Tricks - 30/06/08

Puma have released the Puma v1.08 Tricks football boot for EURO 2008, the new X-ray version of the v1.08 speed football boot. Following the success of the v1.08 collection during the African Cup of Nations, the Puma Tricks will be worn through the 2008/09 season by such star footballers as Samuel Eto'o, David Bentley and Gianluigi Buffon.

The inspiration for the new x-ray v1.08 Tricks football boot is your passion for the game of football. "Wear your emotions on your sleeve...leave it all on the pitch...show your inside on the outside."

Upholding the "inside on the outside" design are the following features: An x-ray skeleton Puma cat logo on the side of the boot, a skeletal outline of the foot on the insole, a striking electric blue colourway to replicate an x-ray, and a 'brain' pattern on the football boots microfibre upper.

The Puma v1.08 football boot is a SPEED boot, with that in mind the v1.08 Tricks football boot has been created 'to get you to the ball even faster!'

The upper uses a thin LIGHTWEIGHT textile material reinforced by a thin layer of microfibre, improving protection and durability. With a grip texture and off-centre lacing the kicking area is increased, whilst pressure distribution improved.

The outsole is two-piece so further reducing the weight, made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), with a TPU injected external heel counter.

The internal chassis has truly innovative technology. A double-density TPU frame provides STABILITY utilizing a carbon fibre plate, whilst keeping the weight down.

The v1.08 Tricks football boot also introduces environmentally friendly technology, with an industry leading fit that allows the insole to mould perfectly to the players foot. Ergonomics made possible by using Puma AptoLast technology.

Footballers to look out for wearing the Puma v1.08 Tricks football boot include Peter Crouch, David Bentley and Nicolas Anelka.

Anelka shared his opinion of the Puma v1.08 Tricks football boot with the SoccerBible: "My game is very much based on speed and acceleration so it is essential to me that my boot is lightweight. The football boot should also provide me with enough protection to face attacks of defenders. The v1.08 provides all of this and great styling."
