It's fair to say that since the launch of the Nike Vapor VIII, things have looked a bit...Mango. CR7 has lead a Mercurial line overwhelmingly dominated by the Mango/Grey colourway. But now, with only a handful of games left to play in the season, Nike are looking to shake things up...step forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
We recently broke the news that Nike were considering switching their main man into the Sail/Red colourway last week. El Clasico looked to be the obvious match choice, but after under going a morning training session at Madrid's training ground wearing the white boots, all signs point to a debut Champions League appearance!

Launched alongside the Mango/Grey Mercurial Vapor 8 football boots, the Sail/Red versions always looked destined to end up on the feet of Cristiano Ronaldo, as they so closely resemble the Real Madrid colours. With the La Liga season coming to a close Ronaldo will only have a short spell in the white colourway, but one that could include a Champions League final and see the Madrid goal-machine lift the Spanish League title.
After getting a virtual glimpse of Ronaldo wearing the Sail/Red colourway in the PES 2013 teaser video, Konami have now revealed the full trailer for the much anticipated game. The life-like graphics give us a great demonstration of how CR7 will look when he takes to the Santiago Bernabeu field tomorrow night in the Real Madrid home strip!
