We've had an astonishing looking, yet completely unknown boot drop into the SoccerBible inbox. You'll all agree that these prototype football boots look utterly insane, as although they're blacked-out we can still see some radical patterns.
The image came courtesy of SoccerBible user Jonathanish, and shows footballer Crespo who plays for AIK in Sweden wearing his prototype football boots during a training session. The boots aren't suggestive of any boot in circulation, so it's difficult to place either a brand or a boot range.
A close-up look at Crespo's footwear doesn't reveal any branding, but does give us a look at some unique patterning which looks to have been embossed onto the boots surface. This suggests a synthetic upper, but it could just as easily be a leather boot, also despite the instep toe area being obscured there is no visible sign of innocative technologies.
Crespo's play tested football boots are quite a mystery, and we'll be following up with some investigating to find out what these radical football boots are.
