Boot Spy > Schweinsteiger's Boots Up-Close - adiPure V?

A few weeks ago SoccerBible broke the story that Bastian Schweinsteiger was sporting a very unique pair of adidas football boots. Following the recent Bayern Munich kit launch and photo-shoot, we've got some exclusive up-close photography which gives our fans the chance to see the boots like nowhere else on the web can offer...

It was back on February 8th that our Boot Spy team first spotted Schweinsteiger wearing a mystery whited-out adidas football boot, and we've been on the trail ever since trying to get to the bottom of the mystery! Being an adiPure wearer our natural assumption was Schweinsteiger was play testing a new incarnation, possibly the adiPure 5, and now these pics could provide the answers.

We don't want to speculate too much, because Schweinsteiger's football boots could be a 'top secret' project! But in presenting these pictures, it gives you the boot loving fans a chance to be involved in what could be a very exciting boot release from adidas.

It could well be that these mystery adidas football boots are a prototype for the the adiPure V, but even if they aren't there's plenty for us boot fans to talk about. Whether it's the unique Sprint Frame outsole, the stitching patterns, the adidas three-stripes, the text on the tongue or the burnt off laces, Schweinsteiger is definitely the proud owner of a pair of the most unique football boots on the planet!

What if this was a whole new boot from Adidas? Judging the quality of the boot, it is most likely some kind of prototype. What if Adidas just disguised this boot as an adiPure so no one would know what it really was, thus confusing boot Spies Like Us (anyone else seen that movie?)!!! 	Interpol said: The burnt laces are just plain wierd, also the blue chipping off on the soleplate is very bizzare. The sripes you can see have sort of been elongated in a somewhat crudely manner.
