To be honest, the Adizero is not really that great. At least for me anyway. The shoe doesn't even fit my feet properly. It is too narrow, and the upper buckles around the laces when they are tightened, which I have seen on other players wearing the boots. This suggests they do not provide a good fit for a lot of players. At least Nike offers wide-fit boots through their NIkeID system. Mi Adidas does not offer wider versions of their boots, from what I have seen.

Also, the Adizero does not have enough cushioning in the sole. The skin on the sole of my feet came loose from all of the running in the F50's.  And that was with the comfort sole.

It's a pretty odd switch, but it's his choice anyway. That's my favourite CTR 360 colourway. :)

@predators7 What are you talking about? It's the adizero fanboys that bash on Nike they want everything to be light when in reality 1.8 ounces don't make a difference in speed.

@Johnny23: not to start an argument or anything but this is a direct quote off the box of Nike Mayfly Running Shoes:

now, don't  get me wrong, I owned two pairs of those shoes, and they weren't my go-to running shoe for a 10k; they were probably the worst shoe I've ran a race in.

however, I know a good amount of people who love those shoes.

point it, light isn't for everyone, but there is science behind lighter shoes.

I for one love both the CTRs and the adiZeros.

but more importantly, I haven't used those boots since the Mizuno Ignitus came in the mail. :)

... also, that equates to .5% increase based on your calculation, which doesn't sound like much. However, over the span of 90+ minutes, it very well could make the difference between the last burst of speed you would need in the 93rd minute to beat that last defender.

I like that colorway too (not so keen on the two-tone theme of other CTR's that look like you've dipped your toe into a can of paint).

he's just testing the boot...no offense i like both the adizeros and CTR s ...but come on nike lovers what are u being proud of???...after all those big players who officialy switched to Adidas from Nike what is it that makes u parade like this....im not in favor of any brand but i know when it comes 2 making the most profit with less quality NIKE is the winner... :)

@enatron lets be honest that last post is a load...if your in a good shape and can last the full 90 then you shouldn't have a problem in the 5th or 85th min at least I don't. But this is cool I wonder if anyone else will make the right switch to Nike plus Higuan is a great player just a shame he's been gone for so long. And to be fair when the adizeros came out everyone switched and for some reason fell in love and thought Nike cleats were too "heavy" which is crazy

@enatron same here but it's pure advertisement, that's like saying just because you wear these you will have enough strength at the end of the game for that last sprint. Like Madridmanfan792 mentioned it's all about condition and fitness, if you are really fit you'll be able to last 90+ minutes. Donovan scored the winning goal against Algeria in the world cup 91st minute wearing superfly II's. If weight mattered to professionals none would be wearing the adizero leather and would instead opt for the primes which they don't because they want comfort. Either way it's pure advertisement.

i just have to laugh at all the sad people who are devistated when a professional decides to change his football boots. everyone has their own preferences and choice. okay some football boots have different features but at the end of the day its what you put in the boot that counts!

@robben-10 thank you i was waiting for someoe to say that. people think wearing these 5oz adizeros are gonna make you run faster and last longer, or think that predators are gonna make you bend it like beckham. cleats make little to no difference its all about your skill, conditioning, and training.

Any incarnation of the CTR360s is better than any other boot, it's just that simple, they're the best boot out there without a doubt.

Anyone else notice the clear Tiempo-like studs on Higuains' CTR's?

Nike have lost so many players to adidas due to players wanting to move into adizero. Nike probably had to pay Higuain alot of money to get him into their boots... That is the big difference, players are moving from nike to adidas because they choose to do so, nike has to throw alot of money at  players to get them into their boots... very funny situation! :)

Its all about comfort for me, thats why I rarely wear my adiZeros or CTRs anymore.

Ignitus on Grass, NIKEiD Vapor sans shroud on 3G, NIKEiD T90 AG on turf.

all I was pointing out was the stats and science of what Nike and adidas are relaying to the consumer. I tested adiZeros well before they came out. I was one of the first kids in ODP with the OG Mecurials. I always liked them because at the time, they were different, but once they came out to the public, I realized its ALL about what makes you THINK youll play better. neither of those shoes did. Back in the day, I always ended up in Copas or Morelias.

So yes, youre right, we are all right. and right for me is Ignitus. :)
