Lewis Holtby of Schalke 04 will be a name familar to Bundesliga followers, but his fame is set to go to a new level in the soccer gear world thanks to a series of portrait sessions.
Taken back in November before the Bundesliga winter break, there are plenty of shots presumably following a day in the life of the young midfielder. But our Boot Spotting eyes were instantly drawn to the German's customised Nike Superfly football boots which were making another cameo appearance!
Now we have much love for the Vapor and Superfly boots here at the SoccerBible, so it's with mixed feelings we can share these cleats with you - mostly because the looming release of the Superfly II and Vapor VI means we definitely won't be seeing these classy coloured boots hitting the shelves! Which is a real shame, beacuse as Holtby can testify, this colourway not only goes perfect with the Schalke kit, but we reckon would be a fitting match for plenty of other players out there too!
